Animal Sales/Stud Policy

**Noncompliance of this policy will result in your account being INACTIVATED.**

The selling of PUPPIES is prohibited and should be flagged off. Please find alternative ways of selling your litters.

Adult dogs (6 months or older) that need to be rehomed/rescued are permitted to be posted.

BTYS recognizes the need to charge reasonable adoption fees for dogs to help ensure a good home. Adoption fees of $100 or less are fine, but must be openly stated.

If you list a dog for adoption that is greater than $100 then it will be considered a RETAIL sale and will be flagged by members and removed.

Can I post stud ads?
No. BTYS does not wish to be used as a "tool" to further expand the ever increasing over-population of dogs in the area.

What about other animals besides dogs?

Cats should also not be listed by retail sellers.
Farm animals/livestock are fine and do not have a limit on asking price.
